The Dream Child
Baby Freddy appears in a dream sequence where Alice follows Amanda Krueger into the surrealistic version of the Westin Hills Asylum. There, Amanda gives birth to Freddy, who runs out of the room and into the church altar where Alice defeated Freddy in the previous film. Baby Freddy crawls up to a pedestal, where he lets out a supersonic scream, causing a window to break, various debris to fall, and the floor to rise up. Baby Freddy crawls into the sweater, the pedestal rises and Baby Freddy turns into the adult Freddy Krueger, thus bringing Freddy back to life again.
At the end of the film, Freddy is reverted back in Baby Freddy as a result of Jacob Johnson's dream power, and Amanda forces the infant back inside of her by turning him into energy and abosorbing him.
- Although Baby Freddy resembles post-death Freddy because of the burn wounds on his head, the next film shows that Freddy Krueger was a normal looking child. The deformed appearance may be a reflection of the evil in his soul.
